Ingredients

  • Urad daal 1/8 cup, moong daal optional 1/8 cup. ( if you use urad daal then 1/4 cup add moida 1 and 1/2 cup proportion) all purpose flour or moida 2 and 1/2cup, cornflour 4 tablespoon , baking powder 1/4 tsp, food color optional, ghee, white oil. For sugar syrup 2 and 1/2cup water 3 cup sugar, 4 batasha, 1 tbsp liquid milk, elaichi, long bay leaf, lemon juice

Directions

  • Take a bowl soak both daal for 4 hrs and make a paste add all the ingredients leave it for an hour . In another pot heat water and sugar now add bay leaf, elaichi, cloves and boil it once boiling starts add liquid milk ,after 10 mins add lemon juice,heat it till it gets 2 string consistency. Now heat pan add canola oil with ghee and deep fry jilipi then soak in sugar syrup for 4 mins then suddenly pick it and keep it in other vessel
